West Hollywood, CA Compartes Melrose is a 500sf chocolate shop designed by AAmp Studio for Los Angeles based chocolatier Jonathan Grahm. Compartes was established in 1950 in LA’s Brentwood neighborhood, where the chocolates are still made by hand today. The Melrose Place location is the brand’s second retail space, and will serve as the concept store for future Anne-Marie Armstrog, AAmp Studio. Anne-Marie Armstrong is Principal and co-founder of AAmp Studio, and is a licensed architect in California, Maine and Ontario.She received a Master of Architecture from Yale University, where she studied on a Fulbright Scholarship, and an Honours Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo. AAmp Studio was commissioned to renovate and add a third-floor addition to a narrow 100-year old townhouse in Toronto’s West End.
